1 Week after knee surgery

Hi Guys,

Today’s post is about my knee surgery I did last Monday. Today there’s 1 week of my recovery and I want share with you what it looks like.

  • It hurts more than I expected. I don’t know why I though after a surgery I could not feel pain! lol But it was hard on 2 first days. After I felt just uncomfortable.
  • The medication I’m having for pain and anti-inflammatory is killing me. The pain-killer, get me dizzy and put me to sleep in minutes! The other one destroys my stomach!
  • I’m can’t walk yet and yesterday I started put my foot on the floor and tried very little steps.

Today is exactly a week after the surgery and I still need to rest a lot and take care of myself because of the medication. And the good part is I can straight my knee without pain anymore. And I can’t can’t can’t can’t wait to back to workout! …I know.. before I have fisio and etc..  Ah! And I miss going to work too! Isn’t like a vacation being at home recovering =( I miss being productive and my co-workers. Anyways! I’m good and the ripped meniscus is gone! Woohoo

Workout for injured knee

Hi guys,

Today I was without any motivation to back to workout because I know I will operate my knee soon and I felt sad. Yep, I’ve ripped the meniscus and it’s painful. …When a colleague at work just told me: “What’s wrong? You still can do abs and arm exercise!” And he is completely right! Voila! Workout status: DONE! 💪💪💪 Woohhooo I just needed a little dose of good energy and I fee way better. What do you do when you need to get inspired?

This was the exercise I choose to not hurt even more my knee. I did it very slow with focus on abs and arms.



I hope I can make that surgery very soon and get back to my workout routine ASAP! I know, I’ll need physiotherapy and I like the fact I’ll have doctors caring on my knee.

Collect Moments. Not things.

Found this on the web and wanted to share. Thats all! At the end of each day what matters most are the feelings you felt, the memories we’re left with… There’s an expression in Portuguese that I don’t know if works in English, but I think you can have an idea of what I’m talking about: Practice detachment! It means, enjoy the moments! Don’t be obsessed with what material things. If you are nice and work hard, taking a positive approach to life, nothing no outcome can be that bad. I’m not saying I don’t like to have a good life and a good house and wouldn’t love win Loto Quebec, I’m saying that being happy and having a life should be priorities and the time flies. So live each day with passion and look forward on how to do it all again tomorrow!

What do you do for fun?

Hi Guys!

This is a short post about what do you do for fun?! I can spend my day writing about hobby here, but I’ll simplify!

Another day I started that conversation at work and everybody was talking about what they do for hobby? What is entertaining, whats is easy and playful. And I got a conclusion that what I love is doing my design, creating and work out. It’s when I have the time for myself. When creating/playing on PS, Ai etc… my mind goes away! I get so concentrate on the image I’m doing, and having crazy ideas… And when working out, isn’t that different! I concentrate of myself! I go to the moon, I can think in so many things at same time and I like it! – Just have an impression I’m repeating the same explanation for “what I feel when doing what I like”, and that’s because I can’t find more words now! lol Just mind blow!

So, I saw this on the web and can’t stop laughing because I can see pretty much myself there! And if my hobby is “my work” or my exercise, good for me! =P

All about gains

Hi Guys,

Today’s post is for those who asked how much weight I gained during pregnancy: Left pic was of march of 2014 and the other I was 36 weeks pregnant, March 2015. It was 17kg (37.5lb) and a healthy baby!

Do not compare your body with any other, each body reacts a different way and has their on time to change. I’m still eating healthy, and  caring even more about nutrients to breastfeed my baby. Naturally it will slowly get better and I’ll back to training in a few more weeks! #FeelingStrong 

So, what’s the gain? My Baby, my healthy, my quality of life! Oh! And boobs! hihihi

And then 29 Weeks!

Hi Guys!

Today I’m just sharing my feelings! It pass so fast! My baby Theo is coming soon and each day more I can plan my days with this little one. How crazy is it? How crazy is having someone growing inside you and making you in love?! Yes! I’m assumed in love! Just liking that feeling. ❤

What’s my routine now?

  • Super super tired, like, lack of energy
  • Eating healthy – at least during the week. On weekends I’m more open to eat something different I’m used to.
  • Trying to keep 2-3 times/week at the gym. Some weeks i’m just too tired. But forcing to go and I really feel amazing and proud of myself doing the workout with my super belly.
  • Not having crazy cravings anymore… Now is all about fruits and bread!
  • Having a very hard time choosing someone else to replace me at work during my Maternity leave. That “good bye” feeling is killing me.
  • Maybe too much hormones are making me a little bit more emotional, and this is NOT me at all!
  • I don’t know how I’m just in love preparing the nursery and the Baby Shower for my little Theo ❤
  • Same time I’m so scared to be a Mom! I want be the best and coolest Mom ever! So much responsibilities!
  • And then, I love my husband more and more. Couldn’t choose  better partner in crime! Partner for life and Dad for my baby.

It was a little summary of a pregnant with 11 weeks left to the due – 14 April! And I need back to work! lol And this is how I do look now:
